 Lecture Series on "Know Your E-Resource"

C.M.P Degree College under the aegis of ‘Project and Research Cell’ in joint collaboration with ‘Library Department’ started a lecture series on the theme of ‘Know Your E-Resources’ from 07/08/2023. The program was started with the lighting of the lamp in front of the idol of Maa Saraswati. Project and Research Cell Coordinator Dr. Sunanda Das welcomed all the guests. On this occasion, Principal of the college, Prof. Ajay Prakash Khare said in his address that through e-resources, researchers can do their research work in a rational manner; just they should know how to verify reliable and valid facts. Chief Guest Prof. Ramendra Kumar Singh, Department of Chemistry, University of Allahabad expressed his views on “e-Resources in Science” and discussed its importance, possibilities and challenges in detail. Prof. Singh said that the biggest challenge before the researchers in e-resources is to identify the true facts because there is a flood of information on the internet but only true facts can give a new direction to the research. College librarian and keynote speaker Dr. Punit Kumar Singh threw light on the facilities of e-resources in the college library. Dr. Singh told how to search the resources on N-LIST, DELNET etc. The program was coordinated by Dr. Jyoti Verma and the vote of thanks was done by Dr. Harishchandra. Project and Research Cell's Dr. Yadvendra Singh, Dr. Rachna Srivastava, Dr. Dilip Kumar Singh, Dr. Rekha Srivastava, Dr. Vijay Pratap Singh, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Bharti, Dr. Deepa Srivastava, Dr. Priya Soni Khare and Dr. Jitendra Kumar including college Vice-Principal Dr. Neeta Sinha, College NAAC Coordinator Dr. Babita Agarwal, Bursar Dr. Bhupendra Bajaj, Botany Coordinator Dr. Amita Pandey, Dr. Manoj Jaiswal, Dr. Pallavi Rai and all the faculty members and researchers were present.

सी.एम.पी. महाविद्यालय में ‘प्रोजेक्ट एवं रिसर्च सेल’ एवं ‘लाइब्रेरी डिपार्टमेंट’ के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में विषय “नो योर ई- रिसोर्सेस” पर व्याख्यान माला की शुरुआत दिनांक 07/ 08/ 2023 को की गई । कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मां सरस्वती की प्रतिमा के समक्ष दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ किया गया। प्रोजेक्ट एवं रिसर्च सेल की समन्वयक डॉ सुनंदा दास ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य प्रो० अजय प्रकाश खरे ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि ई- रिसोर्सेस के माध्यम से शोधार्थी अपने शोध कार्य को तर्क संगत ढंग से कर सकते है बस उन्हें विश्वसनीय एवं वैध तथ्यों की परख करना आना चाहिए। मुख्य अतिथि प्रो० रामेंद्र कुमार सिंह, रसायन विज्ञान विभाग, इलाहाबाद विश्विद्यालय ने “विज्ञान में ई- रिसोर्सेस” पर अपने विचार व्यक्त किये तथा इसके महत्व, संभावनाएं तथा चुनौतियों पर विस्तारपूर्वक चर्चा की। प्रो० सिंह ने कहा कि ई- रिसोर्सेस में शोधार्थियों के समक्ष सबसे बड़ी चुनौती सत्य तथ्यों की पहचान करना है क्योंकि इंटरनेट पर सूचनाओं की बाढ़ है लेकिन सही तथ्य ही शोध को नई दिशा दे सकते हैं। महाविद्यालय के पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष एवं मुख्य वक्ता डॉ पुनीत कुमार सिंह ने महाविद्यालय के पुस्तकालय में ई- रिसोर्सेस की सुविधाओं पर प्रकाश डाला। डॉ सिंह ने बताया कि एन-लिस्ट, डेलनेट इत्यादि पर रिसोर्सेस को कैसे सर्च किया जाता है। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ ज्योति वर्मा एवं धन्यवाद ज्ञापन डॉ हरिश्चंद्र ने किया। कार्यक्रम में प्रोजेक्ट एंड रिसर्च सेल की डॉ प्रिया सोनी खरे, डॉ जितेन्द्र कुमार, डॉ यादवेन्द्र सिंह, डॉ रचना श्रीवास्तव, डॉ दिलीप कुमार सिंह, डॉ रेखा श्रीवास्तव, डॉ विजय प्रताप सिंह, डॉ रमेश कुमार भारती, डॉ दीपा श्रीवास्तव सहित महाविद्यालय की उप-प्राचार्या डॉ नीता सिन्हा, महाविद्यालय नैक समन्वयक डॉ बबीता अग्रवाल, बर्सर डॉ भूपेंद्र बजाज, वनस्पतिशास्त्र की समन्वयक डॉ अमिता पाण्डेय, डॉ मनोज जायसवाल, डॉ पल्लवी राय तथा समस्त शोधार्थी मौजूद रहे।

A special lecture on the topic of "Mendeley Reference Software" was organized on 25/07/2023 under P.HD. (Education) coursework in the Department of Education, CMP College. The program was presided over by Dr. Neeta Sinha, convenor of the Department of Education. She welcomed the invited keynote speaker Dr. Punit Kumar Singh, College librarian, CMP College, University of Allahabad. On this occasion, Dr. Puneet Kumar Singh gave a lecture about Mendeley software to the researchers. In his lecture he explained in detail about using Mendeley software through PPT. At the end of the programme, vote of thanks given by Dr. Neeta Sinha, Convenor of the Department. Dr. Abha Singh, Dr. Sangeeta including research scholars Ms. Sangam Singh, Mrs. Poornima Giri, Mrs. Poonam Kushwaha, Mrs. Minakshi Srivastava, Mr. Saurabh Rastogi, Mr. Mohammad Mukeem, Mr. Murari yadav, Mr. Anilesh Kumar were present in the program.

A special lecture on the topic of "How to Avoid Plagiarism in Research Writing" was organized on 17/07/2023 under P.HD. (Education) coursework in the Department of Education, CMP College. The program was presided over by Dr. Neeta Sinha, convenor of the Department of Education. She welcomed the invited keynote speaker Dr. Punit Kumar Singh, College librarian, CMP College, University of Allahabad. Dr. Punit Kumar Singh gave a lecture on how to Avoid Plagiarism on research writing. In his lecture, He discussed in detail about the Plagiarism, Type of plagiarism, UGC Regulation 2018, how to avoid plagiarism, referencing style, plagiarism detection software. At the end of the programme, vote of thanks given by Dr. Neeta Sinha, Convenor of the dlDepartment. Dr. Sangeeta, Dr. Priya Soni Khare, Dr. Jitendra Kumar, and Dr. Dilip Kumar Singh including research scholars Ms. Sangam Singh, Mrs. Poornima Giri, Mr. Ramakant yadav, Mrs. Poonam Kushwaha, Mr. Saurabh Rastogi, Mr. Mohammad Mukeem, were present in the program.

A special lecture on the topic of "E-Resources in Educational Research" was organized on 14/07/2023 under P.HD. (Education) coursework in the Department of Education, CMP College. The program was presided over by Dr. Neeta Sinha, convenor of the Department of Education. She welcomed the invited keynote speaker Dr. Punit Kumar Singh, College librarian, CMP College, University of Allahabad. Dr. Punit Kumar Singh gave a lecture on E-Resources in Educational Research. In his lecture, He discussed in detail about the use of E-Resources in research and their various layout N-LIST, DELNET, Open Access E - Resources and Search Techniques. At the end of the programme, Dr. Abha Singh gave a memento to her as a memorandum of thanks. Dr. Sangeeta, Dr. Priya Soni Khare, Dr. Jitendra Kumar, and Dr. Dilip Kumar Singh including research scholars Ms. Sangam Singh, Mrs. Poornima Giri, Ms. Roshni Nishad, Mrs. Poonam Kushwaha, Mr. Saurabh Rastogi, Mr. Mohammad Mukeem, Mr. Murari Yadav, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, were present in the program.

 Inaugural of "Learning Resource Centre"

The 'Learning Resource Centre' was inaugurated on March 1, 2023 in the library of C.M.P. Degree College. On this occasion, Dr. Santosh Kumar Srivastava, coordinator of the library committee of the college, welcomed the Honorable Chairman, Governing Body Chaudhary Jitendra Nath Singh by giving a bouquet of flowers. The program was presided over by the Principal of the college, Professor Ajay Prakash Khare. On this occasion, Honorable Governing Body Chairman Shri Jitendra Nath Singh congratulated all the members of college family. He said that- it is a matter of pleasure that the college library is located in a historical building in which the Learning Resource Center has been established. With the help of Learning Resource Center, the students studying in the college will definitely be able to move forward on their progress path. He also said that the college will be at its highest peak in the next few years. 

On this occasion, Principal of the college Professor Ajay Prakash Khare said that the condition of the library in the college is similar to the heart located in the human body. The Principal urged the teachers of the college to motivate the students to come to the library and also appealed to all the teachers to come regularly to the Learning Resource Center so that the students can also be motivated.

All the guests present in the program were thanked by Dr. Puneet Kumar Singh, librarian of the college. In the program, Honorable Mr. V.S. सी० एम० पी० डिग्री कॉलेज के पुस्तकालय में दिनांक 1 मार्च 2023 को ‘लर्निंग रिसोर्स सेंटर’ का उद्घाटन किया गया। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय की लाइब्रेरी कमेटी के संयोजक डॉ संतोष कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने माननीय अध्यक्ष, शासी निकाय चौधरी जितेंद्र नाथ सिंह जी का पुष्प गुच्छ देकर स्वागत किया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य प्रोफ़ेसर डॉ अजय प्रकाश खरे ने की। इस अवसर पर माननीय शासी निकाय अध्यक्ष श्री जितेंद्र नाथ सिंह जी ने लाइब्रेरी में स्थित ‘लर्निंग रिसोर्स सेंटर’ के शुभारंभ पर महाविद्यालय परिवार के सभी सदस्यों को बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह हर्ष का विषय है कि महाविद्यालय लाइब्रेरी एक ऐतिहासिक इमारत में स्थित है जिसमे लर्निंग रिसोर्स सेंटर स्थापित किया गया है। लर्निंग रिसोर्स सेंटर की सहायता से महाविद्यालय में अध्ययनरत विद्यार्थी अपने प्रगति पथ पर निश्चित रूप से अग्रसर हो सकेंगे। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि आगे के कुछ वर्षों में महाविद्यालय अपने सर्वोच्च शिखर पर होगा। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य प्रोफेसर अजय प्रकाश खरे ने कहा कि महाविद्यालय में पुस्तकालय की स्थिति, मनुष्य के शरीर में स्थित हृदय के समान होती है। प्राचार्य ने महाविद्यालय के अध्यापकों से आग्रह किया कि वह विद्यार्थियों को लाइब्रेरी में आने के लिए प्रेरित करें साथ ही उन्होंने सभी शिक्षकों से भी अपील की कि वह लर्निंग रिसोर्स सेंटर में नियमित रूप से आए जिससे छात्र भी प्रेरित हो सके।
