*Information Literacy Workshop on Manupatra Legal Database*
The Central Library of CMP Degree College in collaboration with the Research Cell and the Law Faculty organized an information literacy lecture on the Manupatra legal database on September 22, 2025 in the college's new auditorium. The objective of this program was to familiarize law students with emerging areas of legal studies beyond the traditional curriculum, equip them with practical legal knowledge, and prepare them for various career opportunities in the legal field. The chief guest, Mr. Prabahakar Jaiswal, Sales Manager of Manupatra, highlighted the features and practical applications of the Manupatra platform. He explained in detail the entire process of accessing and using its tools, including Supreme Court and High Court case laws, bills, ordinances, drafts, and other legal frameworks, through the website. College Librarian, Dr. Punit Kumar Singh, also briefed the students about the library resources and facilities. This academic initiative reflects the vision of the Principal of CMP Degree College, Prof. Ajay Prakash Khare, and was organized under the guidance of Prof. Archana Khare, Convenor of the Library Committee, Prof. Babita Agrawal, Convenor of the Research Cell, and Prof. S. S. Singh, Convenor of the Law Faculty. Dr. Punit Kumar Singh, College Librarian and Ms. Renu Singh, Coordinator of the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program, were the program organizers. Prof. Babita Agrawal, Convenor of the Research Cell, welcomed all the guests while Ms. Renu Singh delivered the vote of thanks. The event was hosted by Ms. Anushree Pandey. Faculty members, research scholars, and students of the Law Department attended the program.
*मनुपत्रा विधिक डेटाबेस से सम्बंधित सूचना साक्षरता व्याख्यान का आयोजन*
सीएमपी डिग्री कॉलेज की केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय द्वारा रिसर्च सेल और विधि संकाय के सहयोग से मनुपत्रा विधिक डेटाबेस से सम्बंधित सूचना साक्षरता व्याख्यान का आयोजन 22 सितंबर 2025 को महाविद्यालय के नवीन प्रेक्षागृह में किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विधि के छात्रों को पारंपरिक पाठ्यक्रम के अलावा कानूनी अध्ययन के उभरते क्षेत्रों से परिचित कराना, उन्हें व्यावहारिक कानूनी ज्ञान से लैस करना और कानून के क्षेत्र में विभिन्न करियर अवसरों के लिए तैयार करना था।
कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि मनुपत्रा के सेल्स मैनेजर, श्री प्रभाकर जायसवाल ने छात्रों को मनुपत्रा के फीचर्स और उसके व्यावहारिक उपयोग पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने सुप्रीम कोर्ट और हाई कोर्ट के केस लॉ, बिल, अध्यादेश, ड्राफ्ट और अन्य कानूनी फ्रेमवर्क सहित इसके टूल्स को एक्सेस करने और उपयोग करने की पूरी प्रक्रिया को वेबसाइट के माध्यम से विस्तार पूर्वक बताया। साथ ही महाविद्यालय पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष डॉ. पुनीत कुमार सिंह ने पुस्ताकालय संसाधनों एवं सुविधाओं से छात्र-छात्राओं को अवगत कराया ।
यह शैक्षणिक पहल सीएमपी डिग्री कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल प्रो. अजय प्रकाश खरे के दृष्टिकोण को दर्शाती है और यह कार्यक्रम लाइब्रेरी कमेटी की संयोजक प्रो. अर्चना खरे, रिसर्च सेल की संयोजक प्रो. बबीता अग्रवाल और लॉ फैकल्टी के संयोजक प्रो. एस. एस. सिंह के मार्गदर्शन में संपन्न हुआ। कार्यक्रम के आयोजक सचिव डॉ. पुनीत कुमार सिंह, लाइब्रेरियन और श्रीमती रेनू सिंह, बी.ए.एल.एल.बी. (ऑनर्स) की कोऑर्डिनेटर थीं।
कार्यक्रम के सभी आगंतुको का स्वागत प्रो. बबीता अग्रवाल, संयोजक, रिसर्च सेल ने किया तथा धन्यवाद् ज्ञापन श्रीमती रेनू सिंह ने किया जबकि कार्यक्रम का संचालन श्रीमती अनुश्री पांडेय ने किया। कार्यक्रम में विधि संकाय के शिक्षक, शोधार्थी एवं छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित थे।
